If it's the 2.9 V6 then..........
Oil Filter DIY = Easy. I use a Sierra Cosworth filter. It's more compact and can handle the throughput of a 3 litre engine. This filter was designed for a turbocharged engine with a fine mesh, I've been using them for 6 years and the condition of my engine is still excellent, (good oil pressure, 50 psi 3000 rpm hot) good compression still etc.....
Plugs = I run colder NGK plugs because I occasionally use the car for track days etc....
leads = Motorcraft are fine and last 3 - 4 years
min.
Airfilter = Should be the foam pipercross filter, take it off and clean it with warm soapy water then rinse through!
Heater slider only goes 1/2 way? = "They all do that sir!"
