Van Gogh stylee

Took my S for a run to top up the battery (the S hasn't had much use due to rain in South Wales), got home and spotted the passengers side wing mirror was missing (the manual S1 type) leaving the ball joint on display.

Two questions:
1) Anyone got a spare S1 mirror I can buy?

2) Assuming I can't find a replacement what alternatives have people used (and what suits the style of the S). I want to keep it looking authentic.

Jake, it might be worth while pm'ing Gerald (Norman) who was breaking an S. Think it was an S2, but it may have the same mirrors as the S1? If not then he should have a matching pair anyway.

I've seen on another thread that the Mazda MX5 mirrors can be fitted and that they are more use than the ones I've got on my S2. You can pick up a pair from e-bay, even chromed ones for not much money.

I don't know if it involves some fibreglass and filler though?

Don't quote me but I believe the beauty of the MX5 ones is that they cover the hole left by original (Citroen ?)mirrors.
Unlike the MG/Triumph "Tex" mirrors I chose to fit prior to hearing about the Mazda ones
