How do I get the driving lamps out?

Hello Guys hope you have had a good weekend, thus far? I have been mooching roound the S today in the garage, not enough room to do any proper work but as I have two new driving lamps, I was wondered how I get the old ones out? (the silver has rusted and they look tatty plus one isn't working so putting new ones in) I have checked FAQ's but nothing there.

I think I need to take the front wheel arch cover out looks like its bolted in. Once these are out are the lamps easily accessible or is that just the start. Also noticed one of my headlamps is de-silvering a little at the bottom slightly, its not bad as I didn't notice when I went to view the car, but hey ho there were lots of things I missed but all just little jobs so far. It looks like the headlamps are availble from the info on here, but do I need a lens or the full unit, or will this become apparent when I take it off? Sorry to be a pain its just I am learning as I go and the S is all new as I haven't been under a bonnet since the late 80's!

They are each held in by a single nut, exactly same bracket as would be used to fix a spot lamp to a bumper or similar ( are you old enough to remember when cars had metal bumpers ?)

Headlamp options have been covered extensively in the past but basically they are a standard 7" unit (with sidelight) as fitted to loads of cars before square, oblong and then all sorts of fancy shapes were invented. No doubt available from TVR specialists but also Mini, MG and Triumph parts suppliers or, of course, good old Ebay !

Cheers... Had a spare hour as I have a 2 and half year old daughter who comes before the S. Anyway back to the spots...one is out and preped ready to go back in, got carried away and decided to replace the rusty nuts and bolts with stainless and it got dark on me whilst I found some suitable ones. I have been able to swap the wiring so pretty straight forward and it shouldn't take too long to finish my first of many jobs.
