It would be interesting to find out whats required for the MoT.
Does look like a bargain to me.
My chims off the road till March and im missing some tiv action and maybe this could fill the gap.

It looks a nice little car. Is this the S1, or the S1.5 with the 2.9 engine? If it's the 2.9 it's a real bargain!

I especially like those lights that curve round the driver's footwell, are they standard or aftermarket?

The lights are standard they're the same as my S1. If you look at the picture with the bonnet up you can just make out it's a 2.8.

But the bulbs are covered by a dark plastic cover on the S2. Same layout though, I think.

Ahhhh yes I see. Mine are un the dark plastic cover. Mine is definately an S1.5 then, it's got the 2.9 V6 and the S2 interior, but lacks the chroming on the bumpers that S2s have, and also has the original S1 wheels, in mint condition (been told they're worth a fair bit, any idea how much?).

That's what I thought. My two fronts were buckled but the rears are fine so I tried to track down a pair and no luck - I 'upgraded' to the later alloys and my car looks much better IMHO. I've still got mine....££££££

So does that mean that you have 2 alloys looking for a good home then? I need 1 as 1 of mine is suffering from some serious rot.

Pair ( described as good condition ) went for £42 couple of weeks ago on Ebay

That's ridiculous...I bought the Oz 8 spokes for £280 or something like that with 4 brand new/new tyres on them and they are more common.

I wouldn't get rid of mine for that.
