Wheel balancing

Took my wheels to a local tyre fitters and asked if they could balance them because I have(my car not me :-)) a slight wobble above 70mph. They took the wheels of and said that they couldn't put them on their machine without breaking the wheel centres because they had been glued in with silicon. Has anyone else had this problem ? how are the wheel centres fitted and can I get some new ones ?

Normally pushed in from the rear and held by a series of plastic clips, and obviously pushed back to remove. Varoius wheel centres advertised on ebay most of the time but TVR Power Coventry had a stock last time I checked

Ok did a bit of searching and can't find any wheel centres does anyone know where these can be had or even what size they are ?

Ok re-read this thread and phoned TVR Power and they do have some in stock but be quick they might be the next thing to go up in price like the front indicators
