Thanks for the replies, I'll give them a call and ask. I didn't realise they are like a directory service with a telephone number.
As to why I need it, I've had a sparkie round to see why my car keeps cutting out for no reason with no discernible pattern. As I've just had my engine reconditioned and pretty much replaced all the ancillaries including the coil, HT leads, fuel pump, points etc... and fuel is getting to the engine but no spark, he has come to the conclusion it has to be the amiplifier.
To be honest (a long long time late
, I've just bought the Steve Heath Bible) I also came to the same conclusion before he turned up after reading the book. I highly doubt it's the distributor and as there is constant power to all parts of the car, he reckons it has nothing to do with the ignition switch. I agree.
So, I kind of need this part asap to see what happens....I need to get another 200 miles on the clock before I can have the oil filter/oil changed and start bringing up those revs

Not a directonary service but a commercial organisation but they only deal wholesale so they will supply your local factors who supply garages etc and uaually direct to the public over the counter, my local one is Bromsgrove Motor Factors. Find your local one and get to know them there is always one person who will say 'I think thats a ....." and know exactly what you want

If it is you can gladly have it free of charge as it's a bit grim looking.
It does work ok though as i fitted it to my car when i was having electrical problems.
