V8S for £3.5k?!

I've just been looking through the S's for sale on TVRCC, there was a V8S needing a bit of tlc for £3.5k, needless to say its gone, but £3.5k

Seller on TVRCC said:

I am reluctantly selling my Britsh Racing Green TVR V8S. I have owned it since 2001 and it has given me immense pleasure especially on start up! A reliable fast car, with regular work carried out by Austec Racing including reveneered dash, new s/s exhaust and manifolds, body off outrigger rewelding, restitched hood and rear window. It has a new battery. Unfortunately it has been SORN the past two years with little chance to keep moving, starts easily but brakes will need replacing. Bodywork is sound though showing signs of age and some rust to light surrounds ( have replacements ), wheels need refurb and carpets are scruffy. It has its original TVR plate J**TVR. Originally SORN for 6 months whilst job in flux, has lasted 2 years and can't bear to see the car not used. Priced to sell to good home.
