My S2 and the scrappage scheme help.

Now i've got your attention LOL..

My friend is scrapping his Mondeo 2.0ltr for a new car, and i can help myself to any spares which will fit my car.

so any suggestions what i can take, i've only got til tues pm to do this, plus the car must be legal(ish) to drive to the showroom.

So far i'm swopping 2 tyres
interior mirror
battery
rad cap/expansion cap

Cant have anything too major, no time to remove/replace

Any ideas welcome.

Interesting topic, I too have an S2, and I know someone with a rusty old Mondeo....it's finally giving up at 130K, not a bad knock! I didn't realise parts would be interchangeable?

TBH I cant see there being a whole lot that would be usable... switches, relays, maybe seatbelts and wash bottle pumps perhaps, solenoid for your boot release? lots of things "can" be made to fit, but...

Anyway at 130k I would imagine most things would be ready for retirement themselves...

sorry if I appear to be weeing on your chips but I just dont see any great possibilities
