My Car (pics for those interested..)

Hi Guys / Girls.. (not many of those)

I've been reading and posting occasionally for a while but haven't posed any pics of my car.. so here are some taken before she went to Dulford for the chassis resto..

The car is due back with MOT some time next week.. (fingers crossed) and I have loads of parts in the garage ready to fit so consider these the before pics..

Chassis Restoration.. Outriggers Seatbelt mounts rear Suspension uprights etc..

Mine is standard S3 spec.. the upper is like yours but painted silver (looks like by brush! ) and the lower switch panel is standard S3 so not like yours.. I have the TR7 switch gear.

I would love to replace both with some carbon fibre and use BMW Mini switches and S2000 Starter button for the switch panel. This would allow me to loose those horrible Citroen window switches too..

Oh Do you have a paint code I have some MX5 mirrors I need to spray.. I may then be able so see something in the passenger side one. lol..

BTW those late bonnets look great.. I intend to get one if I have her resprayed.. money money money..

Notice the factory chassis jig in use, i guess if more than just outriggers that would be essential

Standard S3 spec....nothing is standard from TVR..!!
Your chassis looks really good--well worth the wait.
The original owners book I have states the colour as Cobalt TVR paint code P147.
However, other documents I have say Admiralty Blue....so beware.

I am about to remove and paint the inside door trims (that now look dull silver and run horozontal along the upper inner door--you can just see them on my picture)...if you are painting mirrors, you may want to think about these as well, as they do look good colour matched to the outside...they also match the blue piping on my leather..!
