front quarter bumpers
Discussion
I have bought a couple of front indicator lens from those jolly nice chaps at Autofast, and was about to fit the nearside one, and dislodged the quarter bumber. Turns out all I had there was a rubber tube full of extremely red rust there, just staying in place with spit and hope !! I'll fix it with cable ties (as a botch up) and then insert a replacement galvanised steel strip later.
Just thought I'd mention it in case anyone other S owner is about to lose their quarter bumber in a slight breeze!!
Apologies if this is covered in the later S handbook - I've only got the early one.. safe journeys...

..you won't need the part number - if you mention Sherpa van indicator lens they think it's funny and will probably ask you if they are really for a TVR.
Their phone number is 01254 692772
BTW they also have clutch master and slave cylinder repair kits - part numbers are in the pistonheads S section. Only a couple of quid.
