(Well second actually).

On the way back from MOT I could finally give her some beans (it was wet so a a little tentative).
Glad to say she seems in fine fettle.
For only a s1, she pulls lovely in all gears, this engine seems very torquey all through the rev range with no massive swell of power at higher revs.
I can stay with confidence if someone is complaining they aren't much faster than the wife's fiesta theres a problem somewhere.
Its not massively quick but fast enough to have a lot of fun on our b roads, which is fine for me.

Looking forward to a dry day to learn the handling attributes.

I had Guglielmi's check over the car and give me a hit list of things to sort and to my suprise it was fairly short and minor, mostly tidying bits and pieces from the rebuild so I'm a happy camper. Steve is a really nice guy and I would recommend them. I did leave having some car envy though, too many chims and tuscans etc floating around, made my S look very dated and slow. Still, grin restored on the drive home, for the money I don't think there is much else to touch it!

Was going to put up a post in the `Spotted` but thought nobody reads that site ! Small world aint it. Was coming home from work in the day car. Just saw you floating. Nice colour ! I think you are taking it to the right garage there. Agree also that they usually have some stunning cars. Did you see Steve`s Lotus that he races in the `Time Attack` series. 500 bhp. Bit of a beast.

Hi Mike glad you're liking her. Need to be a tad careful during this glorious summer weather with greasy roads of course, but they still excite me when I fire them up and I'm on my 8thsmile

Have fun!
