Best £10 I've spent on the S
Discussion
Having been irritated for some time by the screen washer washing the back of the o/s wiper rather than the screen, I set about 'improving' it.
Just fitted a spray bar off a Peugeot 405, and I'm pleased to say it works a treat. The spray bar (£6 ish from a Peugeot dealer) clips to the wiper arm, and comes complete with a short length of tube which is lead round the wiper spindle and under the bonnet, where I've joined it via a 90º elbow to a length of tube lead across the scuttle to the washer bottle and tee'd into the washer tube. Realign the existing r/h spray nozzle to point at the centre of the screen and job done.
It might be sad, but I'm happy
Cheers
Graham
Btw The clips don't come with the spray bar, but apparently Peugeot fitters tend to keep a few sculling about in their tool kits - make sure you ask for a couple if you want to do the mod.
