Where can I buy - Driving Lamps..?

Getting the Car all ship shape ready to put in the Classifieds..!
Thankfully not a long list of To Do's.

Just noticed one of the driving lamps is broken.. Doh..!

Parts List says:

Lucas DX-150 Part no. LDB126

Nothing on Flea Bay. Before I trawl through motor factors and the web..
So does anybody know where I can source a pair..? or an Alternative

I have a perfectly good New pair of Headlamps / Sale Swap if anyone is interested.

No doubt I will be back on here asking for any tips on replacing driving lamps before too long..!

Believe the lucas ones are on a par with front indicators ( hens teeth !)

Ring do an acceptable replacement 6 inch driving lamp, should find them on Ebay more easily, no idea how you do those clever links but try item 260421813056

I have 2 pairs of Indicator Lenses

The last lot of DX-150 lights I saw were actually Ring ones with a Lucas badge stuck on the lens. They fitted fine on my car but I've never even switched them on so have no idea how well they work.

Sorry can't help you with the query on driving lamps, but see you have two pairs of indicator lenses.

Yes, i have. When i bought car about a year ago already had the Ring lamps but reflectors were corroded so replaced with new pair. Fitted straight in, no problem but may have to twiddle the wiring connections to suit ?

I know this is a daft question - but why do people call Ebay Flea Bay? Or is it a different thing altogether?

Yes I have, which is what Ebay is - so why call it Flea bay?
I just dont get it and wondered if it was something different. I would be more than happy for Ebay to have some competition.

The other pair are tied up in my Pension fund.. (actually somebody has beaten you to them I'm afraid)

Hi Karl, those are the headlamps, some S's had as an option a pair of driving/spot lamps set into the bodywork either side of the air intake, these are 150mm or 6" dia. headlamps being 7"

I fancy swopping the 6" fog lamps on my S3C for driving lights (on with main beam) as I doubt I'll ever use the fogs.

I know the Lucas ones are no longer available but could anyone confirm if the Ring RL020 lamps do actually fit as a replacement? Seen them suggested on other threads but just wanted to check before I buy.

Ring RL020 in mine fit a treat and readily available on the bay and in Motor Discount stores. Pay no more than £20.

they look great and fit perfect,i took thre ring sticker off

Fitted mine the weekend, easy to do. If you just want the 1 to sell the car, I have one,the metal housing that the lense sits in is rusty at bottom and a hole in it but you cant tell when fitted and the lense is ok,or You could just have the lense and fit to your housing.Mine were odd, the other one had been replaced and bodged in. Let me know
