Rocker Covers/Brake servo required for 1991 S3
Discussion
If you're in no great rush for r/covers I have some being sand blasted at the mo, when painted and fitted the ones currently on car will be spare, the bracket bits that the plug lead clips fit to have been removed but I just use the lead clips loose, works fine.
got my "spares" from a complete engine off Ebay, £50
Just out of couriosty whats up with yours ? Didn't think a lot could go wrong with them !
Believe servo's are getting scarce, although there must be a few Saabs around the scrapyards ? or convert to the neater looking (IMHO) Fiesta servo with combined reservoir ?

As a matter of interest, I bought a pair of new rocker covers last year, have not fitted them yet, I got them from Ford.
I do remember an ealier thread that says one side needs a slight dent? on side for the alternator bracket to fit correctly, is that right?
Cheers
Fred
Thats right... its to clear the alternator bracket.I do remember an ealier thread that says one side needs a slight dent? on side for the alternator bracket to fit correctly, is that right?

my mate noticed the dent when I had my motor apart and helpfully knocked it out for me without saying anything and I painted it and fitted it without noticing... until I tried to fit the alternator...

Oh how we laughed...
