Inner door handle

I have been trying to track down a passenger door inner handle. I have discovered that it is part no. S28U 10024. Who would this number mean anything to and where could I order one. Help please?

I suspect the handle will be a ford fiesta or escort item... Tim (Elfit) might be able to confirm as he had to replace one last year IIRC...

Not much help from me ~ I got a spare from a scrap tvr.

It may be worth a call to one of the breakers ( see useful links) to see if they have one.

S28U 10024. Is a TVR Part Number, with S28 indicating it is for an S.

So that is not much use to you these days.

I have to source one of these myself as I have snapped the cable, I think I read somewhere else in the forum that these where actually Mk4 Cortina.

Love to hear from someone who does know !

I did have a Mk4 cortina and I think it was very similar but its so long ago I can't be sure.

I know the window winders are Audi 80 of that period so it could well follow that the door handles came from the same donor.Or is that too simple......?
