Anyone got any idea where to get a NEW S3 7.5" diff rear mounting bracket/bush/insulator? Apparently it's from a Sierra, but Ford don't have any left.........Mine is partially torn, and unfortunately the one that came with my new Granada Cosworth lsd is bigger and would be the wrong height etc.

I don't fancy fitting a s/h one as they are not the easiest of parts to change.
Are there any polybush type alternatives? Apart from the one on ebay from the USA (at £150) which might not fit, due to the proximity of the petrol tank, anyway!

I'll probably have to resort to a used one from a breakers in the end.

Thanks for any help,

Jon.

I thought this was something TVRCar Parts sold, try giving them a call.

I bought mine from TVRCarparts 18 months ago and then they couldn't find anymore and only had 3 left. One option I looked at was getting a rubber mounting manufactuerer to remake the part, there was one here in Plymouth who would do it but I didn't follow it up as the new one was cheaper

Good luck in finding the rocking horse poo that is the rear U mount

Just been to my neighbour and got one off a scrap diesel 89 Sierra! No charge. It's ok but I would still prefer a new/different one.
TVR CarParts & David Gerald had none, and can't get any more.
There must be someone who made/fitted something better/different to a racing/rally Sierra in the 80's or 90's.
Spotted a rocking horse on "The Apprentice" this week............
