A General question

Do you think if i broke my car for spares it would be easy to move on ??

few changes in my circumstances means i will not be keeping the car

If its got an MOT and is roadworthy then its worth more as a complete car I'd say.

A shame that you have to get rid of it so quickly.

Ebay will decide if you auction it!

Worth putting it on classifieds too though.

Its worth more as a going concern than broken for spares, you might find some parts difficult/impossible to sell. I broke a fire damaged S2 and nobody but nobody wanted the body tub and appart from a very small and easily repairable area of damage on the bulkhead it was in excellent condition. It had to be chopped up and put on the tip. it broke my heart.

What did you pay for the car? Got to be worth in excess of £3k

Depends how quick you want it shifted.
I've sold 3 cars in the past on ebay with no reserve - you do have to be brave though.
In every case I made more than the dealer part ex price offered, so online auction is not as bad an option as you'd think.

Take it to SCH and stick a "For Sale" on the windscreen and see what interest you get... there wont only be current S owners there you know and you will also get a few free valuations

please dont break her... once they are gone, they are gone for ever cry

K wink

You cannot break that for spares - it looks too good.

Stick it on an ebay auction with a £2k start price if thats what it owes you - its going to be a sunny bank holiday I'd be tempted to get it on later today on a 3 day auction so it ends on bank holiday monday evening.
You'll get a good price for it, could easily hit £4k.

Fine looking car; I wish the S3 had that interior.
If it is solid underneath you'll be giving someone a good deal of fun and happiness as well as a car.
Not many vehicles you can say that about.
Good luck.
Jon.

I would also change/add a photo showing the car with the roof off.
