S1 Engine Bay Pictures Please

I'm trying to trace some cooling pipe locations on my rebuild.
Could people kindly post some pictures of their engine bays.
Really after the location of pipes from the the thermostat housing (near the lhs exhuast manifold.

The first picture does,
It shows a blue pipe from the thermo housing going to the front of the engine, inbetween the cams.

Pipes 32 and 33??


Actually one of these might be the expansion bottle so were does the other heater matrix pipe come from, maybe this is one of my missing ones from the thermo housing (pipes 33 and 37)

In summary then I might need pipes 32, 33, 37. Whats a good source for a good price, dont' need nice blue ones!

here is a picture of the hoses 32 and 33 on a 2.9 engine.
things might be different on a 2.8 engine.

theres a small dia pipe from the top of the swirl tank to the bottom of the expansion tank - you will get that from any factor. there are two pipes come out of the bulkhead, both from the heater matrix, one has the valve and curves over to the front of the engine as you can see in the pictures, the other connects to a steel pipe which then runs low along the engine round to the front nearside IIRC again standard motor factor stuff. (all 2.9 info mind - dunno about 2.8 sorry)

Not sure if the 2.8 had the metal pipe Mike and even if it did that pipe does not need to be metal, it goes around some tight bends at sump-top level which is probably why they made it metal. I'm sure you could make up with straight rubber pipes and a few metal bends ?

Yes they do.
The steel pipe round the sump can be replaced with a straight hose from a motor factors, just clamp the hose at regular intervals so it doesn't touch the exhaust or moving parts.
