S Meet - Apology

My proposal is to meet at Virginia Waters again on Sunday 24th of March.
I haven't had time to try and sort anything else out at all.
I am very sorry, but it's the best I can offer currently and now with having take the heads off next week I really can't sort anything else.
I reckon we meet at around 11am and then do lunch at the pub like last time and then go for a spin to somewhere else for another drink etc etc. I'll come up with a route unless someone has somewhere they particularly want to go to.

That is the original date discussed, it would be a shame if you couldn't make it again although I'm sure we all understand your necessity for competition !!
You could miss one though ! I could look at these rod end bearings and drop links then
I know a number of people would be interested to see the workings of the Big Green V8S..... go on !!! Make our day ..... trying to gather a tidal wave of support now !!
Promise to arrange a S meeting at a Sprint if you come to our S meet rather than North Weald. Thats fair !!

That part of the country is full of old dissused airfields, we could chuck a couple of cones down and do a mad Wethersfield Sprint type 4.5 mile belter!
Maybe not though, old bill might have a fit if they see loads of TVR's hoolied around an airfield without permission!
Forget North Weald, it's always freezing there anyway!
Which reminds me i'd better install bilge pumps in the 'S' in case it rains!

Must admit the thought of dozens of S enthusiasts belting around at an unofficial event fills me with dread! If you want to go for a hooly, perhaps if there was enough interest we could arrange to all meet up at an Easytrack event or something like that. I'm far more likely to drop a sprint round if there's some track time to be had!
Anyway Jason, you shouldn't need a bilge pump, just make sure the bottom of the car leaks more than the top.

Definitely up for Peter’s suggestion for the next one though, so long as it doesn't clash with the summer hols...now that would be ........ a different story..........
