Hi Guys

Do you know why the windows hits the taga tops when shutting i have to drop the windows down get in the car then shut the window to but upto the Taga's.
Also should there be a clip holding the 2 roofs together in the Middle or is it just the pins which fit into the top of the windscreen and the back clips

Cheers

Hi mark

My windows stop when they reach the top of the aliminium window support and I would ahve thought that would be slightly below the tara panels. The panels each have two lugs (tangs) at the front and the rear and also have one over centre clip which connects to the windscreen, they dont have any connectors between themselves just an overlap

Nothing in the middle but you should have two over-locking clips at the front to secure the panels to the windscreen frame...

you can alter the position the window stops at both top and lower positions vertically. Been a year or two since I did mine but as I recall it's a slot headed threaded lug on the aluminium door frame. Bad news is I think you might need to remove the door trim card to get at it.

Early cars (S1) didn't have them, but it's a good idea to retro-fit.
