I have another question:

The glass in my driver's door mirror is at maximum rotation and is still showing me too much of the side of the car. I actually need to rotate the whole mirror unit outwards. Can this be done?

Will the entire mirror housing move outwards another 'click' ?

Both my mirrors have a number of click stops of the entire housing - I have to have the mirrors both sides in different positions to get a decent view (V8S same mirrors as yours)
