Well, renewal time again.

No need to shop around, called the above, nice conversation with a knowledgable and enthusiastic chap. Reduced my quote by about £80, added breakdown cover (free) added a mate whose car is not entirely in one piece (free) agreed value of about 35k (for all of them) for well under £600.

Fantastic, email paperwork arrived whilst on phone. Excellent to do business with clap

They're half the reason I can afford to run a TVR.

They saved me over £200 clap from my previous insurer's renewal quote, can't speak highly enough of them.
Cheers.....Tony..

I used Adrian Flux for my track 205 and they were the cheapest at the time. When I bought the S I tried Hagerty just to prove to myself Adrian Flux were competitive - couldnt believe it when Hagerty quoted my £200 less than Flux with a lower excess and a guaranteed value!
The guy I spoke to actually new about the car too.

Slightly modded Cerbie 4.5, V8S and a 350i.

I told them exactly what I paid for each and they added 3k onto the value of the wedge smile

Great company, great to deal with...... Be interesting if anyone makes a claim as that's when you are how good an insurance company is!

The only thing I would say is they can be a little wary of modifications. Does anyone here insure a car with a roll bar, for example?

My cerb is 410bhp due to the induction kit (Joo) and chip, they added a small amount on for that, can't remember what but something like £20 IIRC.

I spoke to them last year about fitting a roll bar and they said no extra charge. I'm still looking for a roll bar.

I've renewed with Hagerty again this year, most impressed with the service and the premiums but the real test is when you come to make a claim.

Interesting. No one else seems to have had a problem, but when I asked about adding one to my S the bloke I spoke to said they wouldn't insure it because it suggests the car was going to be used extensively on the track. confused
