Hi all

I am just about to order some new superdooper Magnecor HT leads lick for my V8S and was wondering how many people use the spark plug adapter shrouds on their V8S's? Mine doesn't currently have them, and I am wondering whether I need to get some when I replace my leads? What purpose do they serve?

Cheers

Larry

Not me. No idea what they're for either.

I have Magnecor and I've never heard of adaptors.

Hi

To clarify these are the angled generic spark plug extenders/adapters shrouds that plug directly onto the spark plugs before the HT leads go on? I don't currently have them and would hate to fry my new Magnecor leads without them?

Cheers

The extenders move the HT leads away from the host exhaust, so they last longer. They're worth having especially if you have expensive leads.

Mine has them, I seem to think they are the same as fitted to some Vauxhalls.
