Hi guys, I was looking to add a v8s to our TVR stable and was just wondering who was the best bet for insurance for these beasties? Thanks, Assynt Road.

Wherever you go don't worry - provided you have a daily driver and insure the V8S as a second car and as a classic you'll pay peanuts - I paid £140 ish for 3000 miles a year I think.

Hagerty also. Good value for money and really nice chaps in the office.

It's not many companies you can call up after 12 months abscence of TVR ownership and they remember your details and your last car before they've even got your details up on the screen.

Top guys.

Hagerty were best, but you need a daily driver in your name not the wife's. So the alternative was a 5ooo mile from Classic Line for me.

Hagerty, but try RH classic insurance as well, been with them for years but Hagerty swung it this time for service and agreed valuations.

shout Hagerty!

Unfortunately, for new customers they're only doing over 30s (managed to sneak in before that came in...) but the prices are insanely low, particularly if you're a higher risk driver.
