The are 3/16 not 3/8 as I said sometime back! yikes

Edited to add I have a good quality brake pipe flarer and could make you some pipes up if you want (I have some spare pipe) if you don't mind reusing the ends off my old pipes. I've also got some of the little plastic clips that hold the pipes to the trailing arm.

Thanks for the offer Chris but I'm going to have a go myself first off. I think you are a fair distance for me to come to pick them up as well.
Thanks for confirmation of the size.
Cheers Tony

Tony I could post them they won't weigh much, and they will coil up easily enough.

Chris I owe you far too many beer tokens as it is Tonybeer
You could help me in a couple of weeks by letting me see some good pics showing where you routed your pipes, perhaps you could post some on photobucket? What pipe length did you buy to complete the car?

Yes no probs I can do that - I needed 2 packs of brake pipe one wasn't quite enough, it comes in 25 foot rolls.
I bought all my bits including the brake pipe tool from automec http://www.automec.co.uk

Also the outlets on the master cylinder are different sizes - 12mm for the 2 fronts and 10mm for the rear circuit.
The brake valve is 12mm in and out.
Everything else is 10mm assuming you are replacing the old 'T' at the rear which is imperial.

I found the best plan was to stretch the old pipes out straight then make new ones the same length.
Obviously that makes your rear disc pipes a bit more interesting but I can measure mine and let you know, though to be honest its not that hard to figure out.

Chris as usual you have been a great help. Thanks.
I have some good lengths of electrical wire. I thought I would tie it up to the chassis where the pipes need to go and take the lengths from that. I dont have the front pipes they were all off the chasis when I got the car.
