I needed a new fuel sender for my s1 so took the one going from Lucy.
Unfortunately its the wrong type.
Mine should have teh 5 fixing holes.
The sender from lucy does fit in the hole and has a metal plate, should I drill it so I have mounting holes rather than a lock ring?
I assuem I need a seal with five wholes in also, any thought?

Mine had gone open circuit. When I got it off the tank I managed to cut away the casing around the rheostat part and found that the resistance wire had broken off at one end. Just a matter of soldering it back on.
