Anyone know of a professional place to get a V8 remapped properly in the south west? I don't mean piggyback chips.

I'm sure my power band could be less lumpy.

Mark Adams seems to be 'the bod' but as far as I can tell he's over London way (maybe).

Hi Graham, Mark Adams is in Shropshire so not too bad a drive to get it done by the acknowledged expert. sTeVeR

Mark uses rolling roads in different parts of the country so quite possibly somewhere close to you ? best give him a call and ask him, his number is on PH somewhere but i can't remember what thread.

Good point, no idea. The engine was rebuilt after a watery mishap a couple of years ago, so I shall say a tentative 'maybe'.

Hi Graham, business is understandably slow but I have spent most of winter rebuliding garage ready for spring, New roof, rewired, plastered, heating and looking good. I am fnding it more difficult to buy good cars than sell them but people still reluctant to pay a proper price for a proper car. Most "S" class cars selling on here are sub £4K it seems with a few exceptions.I have been looking for 3 older cars for a customer for months and nothing for sale. Still have my exceptional V8S for sale, suppose I should start advertising it now sunny weather is here. Been trying to update my website but still failed, stick to what you know. Hope you get your tuning sorted out, there is a big difference between making it run properly and remapping but for sure one must come before the other. sTeVeR

Steve, you desperately need a new website! Whoever built your old one was a muppet wink

It must have been up since, what, 2000? As ever, if you want to update your site, I'm happy to help.

My V8S runs fine. I just feel like the power delivery is not all it could be. Had a chat with Richard at Dulford Automotive yesterday who gave me some costs to think over.

Yes it has a Viper or Venom or Tornado or something cam in it.

It was three years ago so forgive the vagueness. smile

Graham, he never told me he was a muppet at the time.I thought a website was for life not just for Christmas. I will send you some updates as soon as I get chance and I appreciate your help (even though you say you are not that good )
