Morning all,

Got the S out of the garage last weekend and started the Spring spruce up. When you get the car gleaming, it kind of draws more attention to all the little flaws so my next step is to get the interior up to scratch. I'm after some shots of nice interiors (either standard or enhanced) to give me a standard to aim at.

All contributions much appreciated.....

Really like that grey/red number,MnS. I've got keep-fit windows, i'm guessing those with Electric windows get that reet posh extra bit of wood door trim?

Has anyone changed their column stalks for something a bit less "1988 Ford parts bin"?

Not the best photo, but the only recent one I have. More 'dash' than 'interior'.

Really shows up my worn seats! I've always liked the different colour piping you lot all seem to have.

Have to do something with the gear bezel at some point, thinking of having one made up and inlaying veneer to match dash.

Just one thing chaps, on the passenger side, where the ECU lives, I seem to be missing a kick panel. Is there usually a trim panel to hide this away usually?

I've finally repaired my peeling centre console with a can of liquid plastic from Frost's - good stuff : it's come up like new.

I am now convinced that, at one point, the car had cream leather as the roof panels are lined in cream and it seems under the peeling black on the centre console is also cream. Do the roof panels tend to be lined with the same colour vinyl as the seats?

Blimey, those put my interior to shame.

Really need to find some way to spruce it up. I don't have the coloured leather on top of dash, which is something I'd change if I didn't think it'd cost many many hundreds. Plus my transmission tunnel is dark green leather and the rest of the car is doe I think. Would much prefer cream leather throughout.

Oh well, just as well the rest of the car is good underneath! smile

Hi Mr Clifford, did you have your seats re-covered? Mine were re-covered badly and could do with looking like yours - got the same colour scheme in and out!

Hi Jim,

mine are identical to Mr. Clifford's (black/red piping). They were recovered by the previous owner at David Gerald TVR for an eye-watering £850. It was the deciding factor in buying the car : I reasoned that if the interior was the only area that warranted an £800 investment, the rest of the car must be in good order.

No. The car has now done 54,000 miles so they are just in great nick !
Maybe previous drivers didnt take many passengers !!

I have to say that when I treat/clean the inside it comes up a treat.
