Can anyone tell me where the heater blower assembly sits? I get nothing out of mine at all, not even a slight breath of warm air. Haven't checked the switch wiring yet, the fuse is fine even though the bible has it listed as a 30 amp, mine, or at least the fuse in that slot is only a 15 amp, but it isn't blown. Need to locate the whole assembly to give it a once over.

Apparently you need to take the dash out to get to it - mine's noisy (bearings) and I asked the question about this. BTW the switches fail I'd test this next (assuming it is an S3/4 then the switch is the same as a TR7 main light switch or RR classic - early 80s model interior light). I'd suggest this is more likely if neither speed is working as I suspect the two speed motor is seperate windings most are (cheaper to make) although I am not sure of the design of the one in the S. Also if it is a single motor with a tapping off to give the twin speed you can swing through the motor from the switch to check for continuity.

If you want a bit of detail on how to do this then PM me (although I don't know what the readings need to be but Norm (Gerald TVR) may be able to swing through the one he takes off gerald's friend to give you an idea).

Thanks for that. That interior makes mine look really good. I don't think I'll be going to those extremes just to test a heater fan. Does anyone know where to source TR7 switches?
I'd like to upgrade the switches really, with something funky like new Mini toggle switches or something, but that's a new thread.

Check the useful contacts for Rimmer Bros link (don't just look at TR7 on there as the Range Rover switches are often cheaper and are the same) and there is a thread on here somewhere with another company that sells them beginning with S (I can't find the thread) but soemone will post the name I'm sure as it was only in the last few months.

Alternatively mine came from ebay for between £3 and £8 each (the cheaper ones were brand new and the mpore expensive ones where the fan type i.e. 3 position off/on1/on2) search for Range Rover switch and TR7 Switch.

Cheers Mark, I'll have a mooch around the interweb and see what I can find.
