Disk Brake Question

I have removed the front disks and calipers from Gerald's friend


disk diam 240mm

Are the disks anything special, the calipers appear standard

Helpful suggestions/comments welcome

Yep, to state the obvious "they are grooved" standard ones aren't. I would agree the calipers look like the ones I'm about to remove for the larger size discs and calipers. If they work ok they seem to go for £20 or so on ebay - list as for "kitcar" as well as sierra tvr etc

What are the casting numbers on the other side of the caliper?

893 on one and 894 on other

need to know the o/d of the disc to tell how much of an upgrade they were.

THey are 240mm (he says between the 2 photos) so standard diameter.
