Anybody know the details of the short rear brake hose which runs from the chassis to the trailing arms on a V8s.

Thanks

Pete

Its imperial thread if its original I can tell you that.

The T piece near the diff on mine was imperial, the flexihose was imperial then the rigid pipes on the trailing arms were imperial at the inboard end and metric at the outboard caliper end.

I changed all mine for metric throughout.

Well its not gone well today, not only is there issues with the inboard flexi hoses but I have now found a hole in the rear O/S trailing arm, Bit if a shock really as it looked in great shape until I noticed a little blister which was full of water, this to me indicated that the pipe was probably rusting from the inside, anyway a little prod later and the screw driver shot through, yikes.
Anybody got a spare they dont need.

Take it from me you really need to check those trailing arms, mine looked sound but how wrong was I.

Anyway Chris thankyou for the offer, I may take you up on it if I struggle to find any, you right they are imperial, do you know what thread, mine are approx 200mm long flange to flange.
I noted that the copper pipe run along the trailing arm is metric at the caliper end and imperial at the flexhose end rolleyesTVR eh dont you just love em rolleyes
