has anyone fitted H rated tyes to their car,my tyres are getting low and will need replacing soon,and i have been offered 2 new tyres but they are H RATED top speed 130 MPH Will this have an impact on my insurance??

Hi Kevin

V rated tyres were the original fittement to the S1 - S4 and Z rated to the V8. If you fit anything other than that I would suggest that you clear it with your insurance company. The last thing you want is your insurance invalidated.

A quick search on BlackCircles.co.uk have 205/60/15 H rated from £44 - £93 and V rated £52 - £94 saving is insignificant. With Bridgestone ER300 V rated at £78.10 fitted, see thread below

I think you need to go with VR tyres. ZR for the V8S I think are tough to find and most insurance companies will accept VR's on a V8S.
