Guys,

My old man suffered a stroke a few years ago and can only drive automatics as a result. He has been is my S and would have one himself - can the conversion be done ?

I have seen a couple of wedges with an auto box.

*Anything* is possible if you are willing to throw enough time and money at it. It doesn't sounds like a really huge change, but I suspect it would probably cost thousands rather than hundreds. Probably worth calling round some of the independants to see what they reckon to it.

Birchy,

I think this has been done - I seem to remember a Blue S3 automatic for sale in Autotrader last year - not much help but proves it can be done.
