Was looking back on all the threads and postings I've done, turns out I first posted here about S's last March! It comes around quick doesn't it!

I know I'm looking to 'upgrade' but I may have a plan to have 2 TVRs. Watch this space! (Even if I have a 'different car' by S Club, I'm taking the S3 (if I have it (hopefully I will!!!!)))

Just wanted to say, what a fantastic forum and the members are all so friendly and helpful and thanks for giving my all the info I could ever need. And what a great car the S really is. biggrin

yeah i know what you mean, these cars and the forum are just class! I love my TVR, i havent taken her out since Christmas day for 1 reason or another(mainly grit on roads!)but yesterday i took her out after work, i was SO EXCITED, she started 1st time, which pleased me, then the 1st time i took the revs over 3k, the noise and the feeling just gave me goosepimples, and a HUGE GRIN!! I just loved it. cloud9

You're so right Tony. TVRs have that, err X factor. There's just something about them. OK, the build quality could be better, they could have more things in them, they could be safer and better finished. Then, they'd be like other things, safe, OK, no fun, no GRIN, no excitement.

I'm still amazed how even really young people shout 'wow it's a TVR' when you drive past.

It simply doesn't happen in other cars.

It's so long since the 70s and I'd go in the local and a girl would come up and say 'they tell me you've got Triumph TVR7 in the car park'. I had a bad time as a youth smile
