I replaced mine earlier this year. Mechanic told me that it was a Metro part (BTW - mine is a 1989 S1.5) and sourced it from a local Rover dealer.

I'll check with my mechancic and get back to you. I only paid for one part (a set including the steel ring & rubber seal). Cheers, Richard.

Replaced my fuel sender unit 3 weeks or so ago, only used one ring, if you use 2 then you run the risk of bending out the lock ring tabs on the tank as the seals really are rather thick. The seal and lock ring are the same as that off a classic mini, used to do minis so I know this and was also told this by the mechanic at Hexham Horseless carriages. Really is quite an easy job. Am preparing a quick guide to doing it, with photos of old sender unit and under wheel arch this weekend for RichardR, if you want it.

Sorry didn't get one as I just got the sender unit and the rings all at the same time. Most Motorfactors should have one though as it's common to quite a few cars I think.
