Fuel tank cradle
Discussion
Well I started repainting the rear chassis and suspension mounts this week to find that the seatbelt mount was split through with rust and that the fuel tank cradle was all but shot. I would say that the seat belt mounting can be re fabricated and welded but i'm not that sure about the cradle, does anyone still sell these new?
The trailing arm looks as if it's been repaired with welding so the next job is to grind the weld away and check how good it is and make good.
This is all on the drivers side so i suppose i've got all this to look forward to when i turn her around in the garage and start the passenger side. I'm still aiming at April to have her back on the road though!

The spare I had has gone but Tink may still have one.
As you say the mounts can be made up.
