I've just replaced my driving/fog lights (managed to buy some secondhand Lucas DX 150's on flea-bay) as the originals where either cracked or stone chipped beyond belief.

My question to you good folk is are there any pespex type covers or anything to protect them from the inevitable stone bombardment given their low position on the car.

I plan to e-mail someone like armourfend to see if they can supply me with something but I thought I'd check with you all just in case someone has already found a solution.

Cheers, Stu

The car club regagalia store carries perspex covers for the driving lights.

Thanks Stu, thats just what I'm after.

Not noticed that page on the TVRCC web site before for some reason.

I new someone would have sorted a solution for this before.

I'm not surprised. It is quite well buried. Took me 10 mins or so and I knew it was somewhere there, but off the beaten track biggrin

The carbo discs look a bit "add-on" to me but armorfend do make driving lamp protection for Griff lamps. Much more discrete and do the job.
