Location of Immobiliser module in a S4C

Can anyone point me in the direction of where the immobiliser module is located in a S3 or S4C and how easy is it to take the unit out ? Do you have to remove the dashboard to get at the unit ?

The LED's on mine have decided to stop working and although it switches the starter solenoid ok it does not make the fuel pump circuit live, has anybody experienced this problem ?

I didn't think there was any standard alarm/immobiliser fitted from the factory?

This vehicle has a meta alarm / immobiliser fitted from the factory so I suppose it must be the same unit as fitted to V8S vehicles built 1995 ish.
