My guess would be the 2.8 engine, the pedal end is different on the 2.9 than the picture suggests, although saying that I am refering to an S3c as that cable is different to the one in the picture.
cheers.....Tony..

As mentioned in an earlier thread, it is not the throttle cable for 2.9 V6 (which are all the same).

Any S1 (2.8) owners recognise it?

It's the same for both. No difference to the throttle set up on all 2.9s

It looks the same (but my spare is unused). I think he called it S3C because that's what it was taken off.

Yep. Normally with a TVR you would expect at least 6.

They are no longer available from Ford (no longer manufactured.

I'm waiting to hear from a parts supplier who deals in obsolete Ford parts, in case there is a source.

Meanwhile the best suggestion is to get your old cable repaired (replace the inner cable).

I have managed to buy a throttle cable that has been made just to fit the 2.9 s series. It's from Dulford Automotive TVR specialists near Exeter, they said as Ford have stopped producing them, they have made some to fit. A tiny bit needs to be cut out to get it to fit at the engine end, but i'll let u know how well it fits after the weekend.spin

The website is www.dulfordauto.co.uk

Dulford is TVRCARPARTS referred to above, its just Dulford is the garage services part of the company. So you may have the same issues as Orophin and others on different threads
