Wish I had a dozen lying around £46 and still time left seems very expensive to me too. Nearly as pricey as those Sherpa indicators

It looks very similar to a jag Xj one, but i don't think it's quite right from memory.

TVR Car parts used to show them but not now

I'd guess re-chroming would cost £40 or so..................

That said - did you see the price of the indicator lense!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've got 2 full indicator units (one for each side) coming from a breakers for £20!! - might put the one I don't need on ebay & see how much I get

Save them for your retirement fund (I've got a spare pair thinking of keeping them in the bank) and do the breakers have any more? Where they off an S?

Good idea...

Not sure whether they have any more - these are off a 1989 LDV 400 Sherpa van. Not rec'd them as yet - should be here today/tomorrow - going to double check they are the correct ones. If not, they have agreed for me to return them - if so, I'll be ringing to order more!!!!!!

Yep - unfortunately they are the wrong ones

I have arranged to send them back with a photo of the ones I want & they are going to have a look for me to see what they have.

Correct one are 70mmx180mm with the mounting holes at 147mm

I think the filler caps were bespoke for TVR. They are quite a decent piece of kit for TVR, pretty weighty. It's a shame the chrome tends to bleed. I will get mine re-chromed some time soon.

I bid on a new indicator lens on E-bay a while back and it went for £56 if my memory is correct. But you guys missed a bargain last week, i got a new Lucas V8s fog lamp for £8.99 plus post. I could not belive no one elce bid on it. I bet you are now going to say it's the wrong one thats why we did not bid! [LOL] That would be right knowing my luck.

I did, but as it would have been a spare only bid low - wondered who beat me

I remember that light. The Lucas DX150 (?) spots are the ones I fitted to my S3 last year and they fit perfectly so you should be ok. Interestingly, I noticed that mine are now made by RING and Lucas just place their label on them.
