Oh what fun (part II)
Discussion
Following on from funkyboogalooo's message (seperate thread), I have say I feel exactly the same.
At long last, having just had a full service and new exhaust the car drives like new is boy is it FUN.
Rudolph starts first time, every time, idles perfectly, runs perfectly, and is such fun.
The little niggles I've had were just that - niggles - a frayed wire, a knackered exhaust, and a sump plug washer, and to be honest - I probably made more a bigger deal of it than usual, as it's my daily (and only) car, and I'm heavily reliant on it.
Anyhow, all that aside - it's bloody brilliant, and the dry roads are a great benefit too =;-))

Kinky,
I was in the same situation. I use mine everyday and when I first got the car it took at least 6 months before I was getting to feel really happy with it. It has taken 24 months for me to be really really happy with it and in the next 3 months I'll be dead chuffed.
When you use it everyday the niggles can really get you down, especially as it gives you less time to take it apart and resolve the problems as you need the thing to get to work.
Glad to hear you've got yours sorted. You should try and come along to the S meet as it is a great opportunity to have a butchers at other peoples cars...
Cheers
Mark

Cheers for your reply Johno - you summed it up perfectly. I have every intention of being at the next one. I only missed the last one (which was down the road from me) because I was going to view the car with the intention of purchasing!
On a side-note - I've had to advertise the car for sale (due to impending family reasons), but I'm in absolutely reluctant and NO RUSH to sell.
Roll on the summer, and the top down.
YAHOOOO.
As for you Matttav ...... ooohhhhh, I didn't know you cared. fagoffe?
