I need a bit of help. After the last couple of days of lovely weather , my S3 which does not have a garage is like a swamp . Does anyone know where the best place to get a new roof is and what the costs are?

Is it damaged or just leaking? I only ask because a lot of people never reproof their roof (which it needs every couple of years or so). If it is kept outside, you really need to cover the roof.

Reproof the material and renew the rubber seals. My seals are a bit flakey and the high winds have pushed lot of rain in at the weekend. Normally it's ok though.

I was using the car on Saturday and rain was forced in then - and I've got a new roof !

The seals are probably worth checking first and then, as has been said, go for some waterproofing (i.e. Fabsil).

Cheers

Thanks for the thoughts chaps. I regularly waterproof the roof with Johnsons Waterseal, which seems to work. The main problems are with the seals being shot, hence loads of leaks.

I would like to have the whole lot renewed as the material is getting pretty tatty and the rear screen is a mess.

Penninsula quoted me £570 before VAT for the whole lot. If anyone knows of better prices and good quality work I would be most interested.
