New (For me ) S Series New Hood

Well, back again.
First, Thanks to all for the help re immobiliser etc on the Mk 1 Rolling Thunder, (not my name, but what the guys in the village called it!!! and I have 2 Chimearas to compete with.)
I had the first S Series "bought out" from under me, Well, it was going to cost 3 grand for the respray. and after insisting on a drive in it during a BBQ, an offer was pushed that I could not refuse.
Now the good news!!
I am again the exceedingly proud owner of a new S series, (and when I get his ID here I will put the credit where it belongs). He has posted on here for some electrical problems and the TLC that he has given it is outstanding. Cheers Ian.
Fabulous, You could not wipe the smile off my face with a steamroller.
Anyway, enough of the burbling, (The car does enough for the 2 of us,,,,, there I go again.)
Anyone know of a good place for a replacement hood, ie the whole 9 yards?
I saw a place on Ebay that quoted about 365 plus vat. but, like a twit, did not write it down.
Also, the "Tags" that fit into the top of the windscreen and back window on the Targa top, When they have reverted to the 1/2" metal tags, is there anything that can be done about these.

Yes I have a feeling they were EU anyway.
I am a bit worried about doing the job myself, as the "tabs" have rusted and in one part they have "blown" where they fit in to the panel part of the hood, This has increase the thickness of the Targa panel by about 4mm and makes it look a bit odd from the front end. (Also the loss of thickness from the plastic not being there does not help.)
Short of totally stripping the panels out, which leaves me withouth their use, I am not sure of what I am getting into with them. (And not having a garage I can put it in with winter coming does not help either.)

Again this might help. I think the tabs (tangs) are available from TVR Car Parts and i have read somewhere about drilling them out, perhaps in the Steve Heath Bible. The rear section removal is covered on the TVR Series Web Site http://www.tvrsseries.com/ under Technical Bits
You can drill the tangs out and glass in new ones, but it's not for the faint hearted. Not sure on the supply side how easy they are to get. I might have one or two knocking around the garage which I could post to you and I might have a couple of the plastic cups that they locate in on the screen and hoop as well. Try David Gerald or TVR Car Parts.
First pull back the targa material so you can get to the tangs and fibre glass underneath.
I did it and you'll need a dozen or so small dirlls (1-2 mm). The access is tight and you'll break at least a couple (well I did). Basically the idea is to drill down all around the tang and then join up the holes with a file so that you can weaken the fibre glass enough to pull them out. They go in pretty deep, probably 3 times as much below the surface than above. Something like a Dremel might help but I didn't have one at the time.
Then glassing in the new ones I used a pot of that Davids stuff which is resin and chopped fibre glass. basically push it into the hole and then push in the new tang. The really tricky bit is making sure the new tang is in at exactly the same place and angle as the old one. Worth taking a lot of measurements before your remove it. If you can it might pay to put the panel into position on the car and let it dry there although its tricky putting the panel in place with the tangs not fully fixed. I would suggest doing one at a time that way the others can be used as reference to align the panel while the new one is drying.
Once the tangs are fixed in then it's a case of tidying up and filling in around the tang with a bit more fibre glass and then reglueing the targa cover.
