Well the time came today when my V8S finally went to its new owner, David, his PH name is BigV8 and I am sure he will be along at some point to introduce himself. Bit of a sad day, but as we need more seats I knew she had to go, was made a bit easier by the arrival of the new motor but will still miss the V8S big time.
David has got a cracking car and I am sure he will meet you all at the SCH meets. Heres the pic of when David drove off, look after her David and any questions please fell free to ask. Thanks again for all your help and assistance over the years guys, the S forum is still the best there is and I will keep in touch with the friends I have made on here.
Ill pop in from time to time, catch you at a PH meet sometime.

I felt the same when my V8S went, there were tears 
But helped by the fact the new owner (Paul) would look after her, and sure enough Paul has sent me pictures now and again to keep me up to date on how she is. As good as it is to get pictures, it does make me sad that she isn't nestled warmly in the garage ready for me to take out at a moments notice....
... hopefully soon to be cured by the impending purchase of an Elise (daily drive)
I also still have the original S2 still in my garage neededing some work.... someday

As for Kitchen.... It's almost finished, in fact just plumbed the dishwasher in this morning, even tho the dishwasher has been fitted to the Kitchen for over a year now ! oops
But on the good side, I changed the Garage doors to a new roller, makes the entrance nice and wide compared to the double wooden ones, This was in preparation of getting a new car, i need a car fix I've been missing the V8s.....

Thanks Dale, yes hopefully get a Tiv one day (or buy back my old baby if David ever sells) but for now Ive gone soft and bought a Porsche. Its a completely different machine to the V8S, it doesnt make me feel like a young rebelious upstart like the Tiv did Dale
but a great car all the same. The main thing I will miss is the noise, my car sounded fantastic, the new car has a sports exhaust, but nothing sounds like a Tiv....Have fun David and enjoy, I am sure in a years time you will love it even more, the S is like that.....
Must have been hard to see it drive off down the road like that, Mike. When I collected mine the previous owner was nearly in tears .. maybe it was just the way I was kangarooing down the road

I was only thinking if you were still in the fold when I saw a red S (didn't see enough of it to confirm 6 or 8 pot due to roundabout) yesterday about 7pm ish on the A24 southbound near Horsham - possibly now the new owner maybe ?
Sad she's gone, but I guess you'll be back......If you need a fix I'm in Gatwick area often - due to work, not proximity of Austec, though that helps

no wont be doing much to the Porker, the only thing I might change is the alloys, I might put the new Turbo alloys on as they look better, apart from that Im happy with it.Catch you later dave, poss see you at a VW meet sometime.
