Help re Fuel Removal

I know its not TVR related but I thought one of you V8 lads might be able to help,I have a 4.6HSE Range Rover which is going on monday and I need to remove approximately 50-70 litres of fuel from it before it goes.
I am reluctanr to start ripping it apart as the next owner wants to put it back on the road and I am wondering if I could perhaps disconnect one of the pipes iin the picture and run the fuel pump to do the job
questions are
1) In the bottom pic is the top pipe the fuel supply pipe and if so could I disconnect at the coupling and empty from here.
2) If no to above could I fit something to the valve with th cap on in middle pic and remove from here.
3) If neither of the above then any suggestions as to the easiest way, I dont want to damage anything and I only have a day to remove the fuel.
These things are amazingly Torquey even in a vehicle this size and with a water burning engine, cant imagine what it must be like having one in an S but £2k for a short engine when I have a good 3.5 already is not practical especially as I have been made a very good offer for the full vehicle.

I am trying that but it seems to have an obstruction in the filler pipe, I think it may have some sort of device to stop syphoning,some one did suggest it had when I asked on the Land Rover Forum, maybe I should be a bit more brutal? Will have another go ,I agree it would certainly be the easiest way if I can get a pipe down.
