Was it a blue S3C? I just bought it last Saturday from the previous owner who was a student in Exeter and has now left to work abroad. I picked it up from a TVR dealer where it was having a few jobs done and drove it 200 miles on Saturday back to Kent. Despite persistent rain and crawling along the A303 in traffic it was a thrill. It's now nicely tucked up in my garage until this weekend.
