Stupid question - Green Injectors.

My replacement engine has green injectors and the old one had greyish-brown ones. Are the green ones the fabled 'high flow' ones, or are there standard injectors also coloured green?

Are there any makings which would help me identify which they are?

Hi Mikee, I am not absolutely sure this is entirely relevant to your car as mine is a 2.8 but if you clean up the injector tube it should have a Bosch reference number on it. That can be used to find the specification for the injector. I had some trouble getting any joy from Bosch but the big national factors Andrew Page were able to make sense of it. If, by colour, you are referring to the seal ring then I am not sure if it has any relevance. My old rings were dark brown, the replacement rings supplied via Andrew Page were green! Nothing else on mine had any coloured marking. Number on mine, for ref, is 0437502019 (014)

The whole of the injector is a mid-green colour. I'll try top get the number off it.
