Roof panel seals

I have two rubber outer roof seals to fit to the car - they were in the boot when I bought it. My problem is that I don't know which way round they need to go!!

There are two holes on one side of the seal and a piece of the lip has been trimmed off - see photo. The trimming was obviously done at some stage to improve the fit somewhere.

Can anyone recommend the correct way to fit them?

Could you post a picture of the profile of the rubber please? Not sure on the fitting as I think mine are non-standard and as I'm getting a new roof next week, I'd like to make sure I get the correct seals.

Just had the seat belt mod' back from the garage so will be fitting that too.

I'm not sure that these seals are genuine.

Can someone post some pictures of their roof seals so I can compare?
