Well I have some pictures to remind us but I'm waiting for Geoff's best bid to keep them off here... 
It was good to share the evening with you guys from the NW.
Oh and congratulations Tinks... well deserved mate... we could have won another prize if there had been one for earliest to put the tents away eh ?

for me the best bit was the white knuckle ride aka scenic run. i found myself behind a met red g594 i think with b8 behind me i was second at that stage and did not know where i was going so had to keep up and up and up and was so pleased when we got to the loose chippings and could breath again but all was ok when i got on to the a1 and into 3 figures i liked that bit
Yep, Ken, couldnt agree more, a nice sedate parade down country roads *!*!*! I'd only had 'her' on the road 4 days by then and it was the fastest I had been in her (apologies to the metallic blue V6 behind me who might have thought me a shade geriatric at times). Great fun in such quiet company!
That was me behind you Ken (B8) like you I had no idea where I was going either and I kept slowing / stopping so the pack behind us could catch up at junctions as I knew Geoff was leading them and he didn't know the route either - so to say a little sprited driving to catch up was required is an understatement - most enjoyable

Agree that the run was just great - like others here, I had to keep up because not only did I not know the route, but if I got lost I probably couldn't find the showground again either, or even Newark - so this did call for some enthusiastic driving at some points.
Highlight though was when a particularly noisy V6, who may or may not have been credited for noisiness later in the day, came steaming past on full chat down the slip road because he'd spotted a Porsche 911 on the main road, which he just had to admire at closer range... You sir, are a nutter and I salute you!
