A**E!!!! F**K!!!!!!
Just completing the final fettle, and packing for the trip to s club, car gleeming beautifully in the afternoon sun, and the bleedin Drivers door has come off in me hand!!!!
Well not entirely - the top bolt seems to have droped into the door - the bottom hinge seems fine and the door still closes. Bible says its not uncommon and a simple fix.
So, do i attempt to fix it in the morning? (no chance tonight) bearing in mind im inept with a spanner and refixing door card became a day long job for me, and i want to be there mid afternoon.
Or do i leave it for now and attempt it when i have more time; getting in and out dukes of hazard stylee?
see you all there tho - one way or another - safe journey.

If the door shuts and is secure I'd leave as is and climb across from the passenger side - not very elegant I know but at least you'll make it so S Club.

I have a very wobbly drivers door after a partial body lift to do the outriggers...
if was fine before the work, I can only guess they used the door as a lever to release the body from the chassis.. anyways.. net result I gotta' take door off and fix.
Some say the job is a piece of the proverbial... I'll keep yer posted on progress..
Hope the weather remains dry for the weekend...

However, it's open now, the electrics (doors and boot) have started working (no idea why) so we hope to set off about 15.00.
Roving reporter Brakychoc was at Blythe an hour ago, just a bit of light drizzle, same here so not to bad. Weather forecast for tomorrow is a little better. See you later!
